Samantha Green

Samantha Green joined Genentech in 2020 where she works in the medicinal chemistry department. In 2019, she graduated from The Scripps Research Institute with a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Professor Ryan Shenvi’s lab. At Scripps, she worked on developing radical based cross coupling methods for the formation of C–C bonds. Before beginning her Ph.D. work, she was a researcher at the NIH/NIAID where she studied the role of platelet activation in HIV+ patients. Since joining Genentech, her work has focused on the modulation of various biological targets using small molecules across oncology, immunology, and neuro.
