Jason Sheltzer

Dr. Jason Sheltzer is an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine. The Sheltzer Lab seeks to understand how cancers co-opt and corrupt the mitotic cell cycle, with a particular focus on developing new strategies to block cell division in a cancer-specific manner. Dr. Sheltzer has received an Early Independence Award from the NIH, an Innovation Award from Damon Runyon, a Breast Cancer Alliance Young Investigator Award, the Gilula Prize from the American Society for Cell Biology, and the 2019 Presidential Early Career Science and Engineering Award.
