Andrii Monastyrskyi, PhD, is an Assistant Member (Professor) in the Department of Drug Discovery at H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. With expertise in organic and medicinal chemistry, he specializes in hit identification, hit-to-lead optimization, and pharmacokinetics-driven lead optimization programs. His research, funded by Federal and State agencies, focuses on developing small molecule selective kinase modulators (CDK11, CDK12/13, and ULK1/2), fragment-based drug discovery, and targeted protein degradation strategies. Dr. Monastyrskyi also serves as the Scientific Director of the Cancer Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) Core at Moffitt since 2019.
